Presonus Studiolive 24.4.2 – USB Digital Recording and Live Mixer

Equipped with 8 mic/line mono inputs with XLR and jack connectors and 4 stereo channels, 2 with XLR and jack connectors and 2 with XLR, jack and RCA connectors. All 12 of the mic inputs feature XMAX class-A microphone. There are two stereo 32-bit digital effects processors with customisable reverb and delay pre-sets. Also, a 3-band parametric EQ, compressor, limiter, phase switch, panning and a high-pass filter for each channel on board.

We use the rule of 3W per person for talks or workshops, and 5W per person for music events. Wat ratings are given RMS (average) volume over time.

Up to 100 people: Alto Tx 310 (3 sets available) – useful for talks and small bar gigs. The Alto Tx 310 comes with a set of speaker stands. This setup is small and easy to transport so it’s ideas for an acoustic duo, karaoke, panel discussion or book reading. Small in size but big in delivery.

Up to 150 people: JBl Eon – mid range, big punch. This system sounds crisp and loud, even from its smaller size:- 2 x 175w speakers give enough punch to make yourself-noticed in a busy bar. These speakers also make great fold back monitors for on-stage sound and are fantastic as sound reinforcement speakers for talks. They’re small enough to fit into most moderate sized cars too!

Up to 200 peopleBehringer Euro live B15 – These speakers boast a set of 15” cones they’re also louder, than the previously options with 300 Rms per speaker making them great for environments where the sound is the focus of the event. Useful for DJs and larger bar gigs, these speakers have enough oomph to get a party started, or cover a wider area for a conference address or compete with loud on-stage instruments as a fold back speaker on stage for performers in a live music capacity.

Up to 250 people:  ALTO Tx 315, a 700-watt powered speaker perfect for a variety of live sound situations. Light weight with a big sound the Altos 315s give louder playback experience than speakers for a similar size. They are great option for DJS, Small event PA and as sound reinforcement for live sound events.

Up to and over 300 people. For larger spaces, where audio definition is priority, we recommend a multi-speaker set-up for a more even distribution of sound. So, for an event for 300 people in a larger space, we’d recommend a main system for the stage and support speakers throughout the room. Our speakers can be effectively chained to ensure the best sound coverage and audio clarity throughout the event space.
